Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 in 1961) is an American actor. Since the late 80s Angela Evelyn has appeared in television and film. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards including 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett was brought up by her aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. She was born and raised within New York New York. Her mother split with her father at around five. She and her younger sister then moved into St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was at the age of high school when she was able to see James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck production Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream to become an actor come true. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut earning a bachelor's diploma (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. The couple got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. at Yale's School of Drama. granted the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in the year. The school she attended was the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main characters in the film Ramonda in the action film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
